Ministries

Women’s Guild

All women are welcome! Gatherings are on occasion and announced in the bulletin and in this space when scheduled. For more information, please email snepomuk@runestone.net.  We are currently seeking someone to fill the Chair and CoChair positions.  

Men’s Group

All men are welcome! Currently there isn't an active Men's Group.  Tom Pappenfus is organizing the Anual Fish Fry.  Please offer Tom help with this event.      320-766-1880  

Rosary

The Rosary is prayed 30 minutes before each Mass. Absolutely nothing is necessary to attend.  You are welcome to just sit and listen or bring your rosary and pray along.  (extra Rosaries are available in the back of church to use). Rosary leaders are always needed.  If you are interested contact the office and we can create a Rosary leader schedule. snepomuk@runestone.net  or 320-766-2953  

 

Eucharistic Adoration & Rosary

The First Tuesday of the month after              9:00 a.m. Mass.

(EXPOSED ADORATION WILL BE ANNOUNCED) During Lent The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. To get a better understanding about adoration visit:  

Stations of the Cross

Held Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. during Lent followed by soup and sandwiches. You can find the dates and times listed on the Calendar.  Leaders and Servers are needed for this. Soup & Sandwich sign up is in the back of church if you are interested but please know you are welcome to join in the meal weather you sign up or not.

Flowers and Grounds

Volunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church.  We have a few small flower gardens and bushes around the front of the church that we rely on volunteer help to maintain.

 

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. We currently do not offer a class for RCIA.  If you are interested in becoming catholic or were baptized catholic but did not get confirmed Father Statz will work privately with you to bring you into full communion with the church.   

 

Altar Server

Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy.  

Senior Altar Server

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

Eucharistic Minister

Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir director. Sing at 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass or 8:00 p.m. Saturday Mass, as your schedule allows. Contact the choir director Ann Zavadil.             azavadil@wisper-wireless.com  or   320-283-5958

Greeters

Parish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass.

Lector

Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Usher

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

Sacristan

Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.

Liturgical Linen Service

Responsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens.

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Counting and depositing the weekly offertory.  Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

Offertory Counters

Parish Pastoral Council

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the spiritual and building needs.  

  

 

 

Your volunteer services in any of these Ministries are greatly needed and appreciated.  Please Pray about this and offer help where ever you can.  The only requirement is to have an open heart and mind to providing a much needed service to the Parish.
